Description
A lance of Donegal Guards is conducting a raid on the peaceful Combine world of Fukushima, and are poised to raid a fuel depot.
This lance of 'mechs was churned out quickly during my last few weeks before coming to Japan. I ended up forgetting to take pictures of them when they were done.
Also a bit of a nightmare, as I spend a good while painting these, but proceeded to put a coat of spray sealer on them during very humid conditions, meaning that the sealer instantly turned cloudy and ruined the paintjobs completely. Luckily, the paintjobs were rather simple, and after a one-day simplegreen bath, I was back on my way.
Paints were very simple. Primed in black, they were painted with mostly tolepaints, again with some Reaper paints, as well (Namely the metallics used on the cockpits and red laser ports), A mixture of a dull blue and grey were drybrushed over the mini., and a smaller amount of the same hue with added white helped to highlight the minis. Other details like the Donegal Guards logo were hand-painted on. Basing was very simple, using the same GW Burnt Grass flocking I usually use, but coupled with a bit of potato starch in order to give the appearance of partial snow cover.

On a side note, while it should have been obvious, don't use potato starch to base your minis. The first couple of years it looks fine, but by year 10 it yellows. The bases were replaced.
